Welcome to SenjjaApp for the facilitation of male sexual function clinical research. This app studies the effectiveness of Senjja in enhancing the sexual experience for men and their partners. Senjja is a new medical device developed by Exia Biomedical Inc.
This study makes available to the public a free iPhone app (SenjjaApp) that users can install via the app store. The app provides activities that make it easy to respond to surveys about the effectiveness of Senjja. The app also provides several features critical to a medical study, including: determining whether a person is qualified to participate in the study, obtaining informed consent, capturing the user’s signature, and secure data capture and secure transmission to the database.
SenjjaApp is built using the ResearchKit framework and API provided by Apple. The ResearchKit framework provides a secure and consistent base on which medical researchers around the world such as Stanford Medicine and the American Heart Association have already built and run successful studies.
The following elements of SenjjaApp are provide by the ResearchKit API: Consent, Activities and Surveys. Consent clarifies what information is going to be collected from users and who will have access to that information. It explains each step of the study process and provides information about privacy and data security. It obtains the users signature and emails the user a copy of the agreement to the user. Activities allow users to perform tasks such as ordering Senjja directly from the app. Surveys allow the app to ask a series of questions and obtain user responses.
